Galleries
There are many fine galleries and shopping in nearby Berry. Arthur Boyd’s gift to the Nation, Bundanon, located on the upper Shoalhaven River near Nowra, can also be visited by appointment.

Restaurants and Wineries
Several fine wineries are located within an easy 30 minute drive of Callala Beach including Bundewallah Estate, Cambewarra Estate, Coolangatta Estate, Jasper Valley Estate and Crooked River Wines.

Other excellent restaurants in the area worth visiting include The River Deli, The Silos Restaurant and Woodbyne in Jaspers Brush and many more in Berry.

Beaches
The 4 km long Callala Beach is ideal for swimming, boogie-boarding, sea-kayaks and surf-skis, or fishing. Bike-riding and walking along the beach are also favourites of our guests.

At the northern end of Callala Beach is a rocky headland, where children can explore rock pools abundant with crustaceans and wonderful seaweeds. Also, Callala Creek is an ideal play area for children, with its crystal clear water at high tide and its grassed area a great spot to have a picnic.

Water Activities
Jervis Bay is a veritable marine paradise, with many water-based activities, too many to mention. Some examples include:

• Beach Daze charters & cruises at Callala Bay will take you onto Jervis Bay.
• A selection of charter boats at Huskisson;
• The Dolphin Watch cruises departing from Huskisson wharf
• Snorkelling at Honeymoon Bay

The Surrounding Bushland
There are many spectacular bush walks available throughout the Shoalhaven district. Try Booderee National Park and Botanic Gardens in Jervis Bay.

There is a huge variety of sporting and adventures activities within a short distance of Callala Blue:
